The Radical Storytelling Crew Under Construction

The Radical Storytelling Crew

The Radical Storytelling Crew (RSC) is a new Anarchist Theatre Collective of enthusiastic performers, writers, and various crafty folk and techy folk who want to make theatre on our own terms, as absolute equals regardless of ANYTHING.

The beautiful thing about theatre is that all kinds of people can get involved in making it. Aswell as writers and actors; musicians, chippies, researchers, painters, dress-makers, sculpters and more can be part of making theatre.

The proposal is for one big Crew made out of three smaller crews who focus on Performance, Writing, and Tech.

In these smaller groups we could support each-other to make stuff, experiment and practice until we come up with a project that the whole crew can get involved with.

If you are an artist and want to
make stuff independent from the jaws of the creative industries,
if you want to
work at a pace decided by you,
not by the demands of the machine,
A dog is driving a truck and jumps out just before it hits a wall

If you are an artist and you want to
collaborate as an equal amongst equals,
if you want
creative freedom accountable only to our communities,
if you want to share
“from each according to their ability, to each according to their need”

...then come and join the Radical Storytelling Crew!

We are physically based in the London, but there's no reason why members of the writer's crew can't take part remotely.

If you want to join the Crew, go over and subscribe to the Mailing List* and drop an email to the admin at thersc@proton.me letting them know whether you’re interested in writing, performance, or technical work (all 3 is fine!).

*Why a Mailing List and not a Signal Group? Mailing Lists are stil the most accessable form of collective communication.
Not everyone can afford a smartphone, not everyone can afford the same level of internet access on their phone, and a lot of people with cheap smart phones have limited space for apps.
Everyone can get a library card and access a free email account at the library.
